Willard's World of Wonder 25 OF THE WORLD'S SMALLEST MICRO SCULPTURES ON DISPLAY IN AN EXHIBITION THAT WILL LEAVE YOU SIMPLY BREATHLESS.
Experience the power of art and a world of wonder at the Birmingham Contemporary Art Gallery with Dr Willard Wigan MBE, with the smallest sculptures ever made and displayed anywhere in the world. Dr Willard is a world-renowned British sculptor who makes microscopic art. His sculptures are typically placed in the eye of a needle or on the head of a pin. Looking through a microscope, a single sculpture can be as small as 0.005 mm (0.0002 in). This is more than art, this is science at the highest level.
This permanent exhibition welcomes the general public, organisations, educational institutions, children's homes, family groups and just about anyone who wishes to have an amazing experience. Hear Dr Willard's story of how he overcame years of negative and public ridicule by teachers while growing up as a child to rise to great heights in a career that has taken him around the world, where celebrities, prime ministers and Her Majesty The Queen, have seen and bought his work. Seeing is truly believing!
I and my team are delighted to announce 📢 The Greatest Micro Sculptor Exhibition is coming to The Birmingham Contemporary Art Gallery and officially opens on 23-07-21 🙌
I will be exhibiting a selection of seen and unseen new pieces that will blow the minds of everyone who visits the exhibition.
