Willard looking through a needle eye

Commissions by

Willard Wigan MBE

Willard makes a very limited number of sculptures each year. Often working for 3 to 4 months at a time on each piece up to 16 hours per day. Working through the night and early hours to minimise the natural turbulence and vibrations created by every day living.

Using his pulse as a jack hammer and by controlling his heart rate, breathing and movements, he sculpts to incredibly accurate detail and scale. Each sculpture often warrants its own unique hand made tools and will often be painted using one of his own eyelashes.

Finished sculptures are mounted in bespoke displays with high quality viewing optics. To enquire about a commissioned piece of work or for any items available for sale please contact him using the link below.
